About Netopsplatform

A Hong Kong financial auditing practice devoted to KYC record verification — file evidence, sampling discipline, and findings that compliance teams can close.

Why we exist

Customer due diligence files are where policy meets paper. Supervisors in Hong Kong still ask to see certified identity copies, beneficial ownership maps, and source-of-funds narratives that survive scrutiny. Netopsplatform was formed to give MLROs and internal auditors an independent pair of eyes on those records — without turning the conversation into a product pitch.

How we work

We treat each engagement as a financial audit of KYC evidence. Sampling plans are written down before fieldwork. Exceptions cite the clause in your procedures, not vague “best practice.” Draft findings are discussed with the people who own remediation so severity ratings reflect operational reality.

Our base is at York House on Queen’s Road Central, close to many of the licensed firms we serve. Fieldwork may stay on-site when vaulted originals matter, or move to controlled remote review when your document management system already holds the pack.

People and expertise

Our practitioners come from compliance testing, external audit secondments, and CDD operations leadership. We stay current with Hong Kong expectations around customer due diligence and beneficial ownership transparency, and we write findings in language a risk committee can read in one sitting.

Values that show up in fieldwork

  • Evidence over assertion — if the file cannot show it, we do not accept a verbal explanation as closure.
  • Proportionate severity — a missing address proof on a low-risk account is not treated like an unverified high-risk ownership chain.
  • Clear owners — every open item names who should fix it and by when, once you confirm the remediation plan.

Working with clients

We sign confidentiality terms before population extracts leave your premises. We do not market your name in case studies without written consent. If a finding suggests a regulatory notification question, we flag it for your counsel — we are auditors of records, not your legal advisers.
